The Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development (COAD) is a 50-year-old nonprofit organization that provides direct services for Ohio’s Appalachian counties in Early Care and Education, AmeriCorps Seniors, Weatherization and Energy Efficiency, and serves the state of Ohio in its accredited Weatherization Training Center. The opportunity:

We are currently seeking an Accounts Specialist for our Athens office to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the completion of required reports, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable including the verification of vouchers for payments, preparing account payable checks, and maintaining accurate files
  • Manage accounts receivable including the preparation of invoices and verifying and entering receipts
  • Completion of required reports for funders.

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • One + years related experience
