The COAD Foster Grandparent Program (FGP) places volunteers in 46 different non-profit, government and faith-based education sites throughout the region to help serve children with learning, social, or physical disabilities in the classroom.

Volunteers are placed in a variety of settings such as schools, Head Start Programs, daycare centers, MR-DD programs, juvenile justice facilities, hospitals and libraries.

Foster Grandparents help children develop the skills, confidence and strength to succeed in life. Foster Grandparents make their neighborhoods and communities stronger by helping disabled children achieve their goals.
